Day 23 - Razing the Roof

We arrived at the house this afternoon to find work still in progress. Our contractor, Vince, was ripping the roof off the back of the house. This portion is getting re-built and extended to the back of the new concrete pad.

I took a look inside after work stopped for the night, and the most noticeable change was a new beam in the crawl space at the back of the house.

New timber supporting the floor joists where there wasn't one before.
