Several people have mentioned to us that they think we should leave the poor beaver alone, or at least, not attempt to relocate him. Well, we've decided to pretty much leave him be, except for monitoring the water level in the creek to avoid flooding. Once we move into the house, the dogs will be in the yard constantly, and we can't guarantee they'll want to make friends with our creek dwelling rodent, but we'll see how that goes.
We had steady rain most of the day, which increased the creek flow substantially and washed away what the beaver had rebuilt yesterday.
Oh, and for those who have asked, or wanted to ask, no, I don't have any "beaver shots" yet. But I did spot this bunny today.
